Texas with Nationwide Travel | $120,000 - $140,000 Base + Bonus + Profit Sharing

A leading commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee ground-up commercial and industrial construction projects across the United States.

Projects typically include manufacturing facilities, warehouses, distribution centres, logistics hubs, aviation hangars, automotive dealerships, office buildings, higher education facilities, parking structures and self-storage developments.

Responsibilities

• Lead all onsite construction activities from groundbreaking through project completion.
• Manage subcontractors, site safety, quality control, schedules and daily field operations.
• Coordinate with project managers, owners, architects and consultants to ensure successful project delivery.
• Review drawings, specifications and shop drawings to maintain compliance and project quality.
• Drive project schedules while maintaining a safe and productive jobsite.

Requirements

• 7+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Current or recent experience working for a commercial general contractor.
• Proven track record delivering ground-up commercial or industrial projects valued at $10M+.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel nationwide and work onsite five days per week.
• Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office is preferred.
