Role: Restoration/Building Envelope Superintendent
Location: South Florida
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Manage all on-site restoration activities in line with project plans, specifications, and company standards. Conduct startup reviews with internal teams to ensure scope, safety and expectations are clear prior to mobilization.
- Scheduling & Communication: Maintain schedules, coordinate labor, materials, and equipment, and serve as the primary on-site contact with clients, architects, engineers, and project managers.
- Field Execution: Supervise crews and subcontractors, monitor performance, enforce safety standards, and ensure quality craftsmanship. Proactively address issues to maintain progress.
- Quality & Safety Oversight: Conduct inspections for compliance with specifications and workmanship standards. Lead safety protocols, toolbox talks, and site safety meetings in alignment with OSHA and SWS standards.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain daily logs, reports, and safety checklists. Provide regular updates to project managers on schedules, budgets, and conditions.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor's in Construction Management or related field preferred.
- Experience: 4+ years in construction, with 2+years in a superintendent/supervisory role. Restoration or building envelope experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge: Proficiency in restoration methods, drawings/specs, and construction management software (Foundation, Procore, smartsheet a plus). OSHA knowledge required.
- Skills: Leadership, communication, and organizational excellence. Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and priorities. Willingness to travel is a plus.
