Job Title: Structural Steel Project Manager
Location: Remote (East Coast preferred - ideally within driving distance of DC)
Salary: $90,000 - $125,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Overview
An established AISC-certified structural steel fabricator is hiring an experienced Structural Project Manager to oversee large-scale steel projects from detailing through fabrication and erection. This is a remote role supporting major commercial and infrastructure work across multiple states.
Day to Day
- Coordinate with detailers and track drawing progress
- Manage RFIs and project information flow
- Schedule fabrication, delivery, and erection
- Handle jobsite issues and field coordination
- Price and negotiate change orders
- Track job costs and support closeout documentation
- Maintain strong client and erector relationships
Requirements
- 8+ years PM experience with a structural steel fabricator/erector
- Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Civil/Structural Engineering
- Strong drawing/spec reading ability
- Experience delivering large-scale projects
- Self-motivated and accountable
