A growing structural steel fabrication group is expanding its field team due to a strong national project pipeline. The business supports large scale commercial, industrial, data centre and heavy steel projects across the US. This is a practical, site based role suited to someone who understands steel erection but wants less direct crew management pressure.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
* Travel to assigned project sites across the US
* Attend site meetings and represent the fabrication team
* Coordinate with third party erectors, general contractor's and project teams
* Manage steel delivery flow, truck coordination and sequencing
* Investigate field issues and help agree practical fixes
✅ Ideal Candidate Profile
* Experience in structural steel erection or field steel work
* Strong understanding of steel installation and site coordination
* Able to read drawings and identify field issues
* Comfortable with regular national travel and time away from home
* Strong communication skills with erectors, general contractor's and internal teams
