An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Rough Sleeper Navigator to provide high-quality support, advice, and outreach to individuals experiencing rough sleeping.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage rough sleepers through assertive outreach and build trust-based relationships.
Assess housing needs in line with the Housing Act 1996, Homelessness Act 2002, and Localism Act 2011.
Develop and maintain Personal Housing Plans to help clients progress toward secure accommodation.
Liaise with statutory and voluntary services to secure appropriate support and referrals.
Assist clients in accessing benefits, health services, and supported housing options.
Essential Criteria:
Experience supporting vulnerable or marginalised groups.
Strong understanding of homelessness legislation and welfare systems.
Excellent communication, organisation, and ICT skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload across multiple locations.
This role requires flexibility, resilience, and a genuine commitment to ending rough sleeping.
