Westminster City Council is looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused Front Desk Receptionist (Housing Service Centre Officer) to be the welcoming face of our Housing Service Centres. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in your community by supporting residents and ensuring they receive a high-quality, professional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist residents and visitors with professionalism and empathy
Manage reception duties including visitor logs, appointment booking, and key requests
Handle queries and complaints, resolving issues at first contact when possible
Support vulnerable residents and escalate concerns where needed
Work closely with Housing Officers, Leasehold Advisors, Income Officers, and Repairs Surveyors
Raise repair requests and process card payments
Provide general administrative support including purchase orders and inventory requests
Make outbound wellbeing calls to vulnerable tenants
Act as a trained First Aider for the service centre
