Salary: $95,000 - $110,000
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Research & Development Engineer to join a growing engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to lead innovative product development projects from concept through to production, working on design, testing, analysis, and manufacturing support in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Day to Day
- Lead product development projects from concept through testing and production.
- Develop innovative engineering solutions to meet project objectives.
- Create and manage project schedules, test plans, and technical documentation.
- Conduct engineering analysis, product testing, and failure investigations.
- Support prototype development, manufacturing implementation, and continuous product improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, and Marketing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of Research & Development experience.
- Experience managing engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication methods, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., Autodesk Inventor) and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
Desirable:
- FEA and LS-DYNA experience.
- Master's degree or PhD.
