An established and growing structural steel engineering business is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support a diverse portfolio of high-profile construction and infrastructure projects across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and ambitious team delivering complex structural steel solutions across aviation, rail, commercial, and specialist sectors.

The Role

As Quantity Surveyor, you'll take ownership of key commercial activities across multiple live projects, helping to drive profitability, accuracy, and continuous improvement throughout the commercial lifecycle.

This is a hands-on role offering genuine responsibility, long-term progression, and exposure to exciting large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage valuations, variations, and applications for payment
• Lead commercial reporting, forecasting, and CVRs
• Support procurement, tendering, and subcontractor management
• Monitor cost control and improve commercial processes
• Build strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and project teams
• Attend project and commercial meetings as required

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within construction or structural steel
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical ability
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams effectively
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
• Full UK driving licence preferred
