The Role
You'll take responsibility for the commercial management of structural steel projects, working closely with clients, subcontractors and internal project teams to maximise value and ensure projects are delivered successfully.
You'll:
- Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of multiple structural steel projects.
- Administer subcontractor accounts, contracts and commercial agreements.
- Prepare and negotiate variations, valuations, claims and final accounts.
- Monitor project costs, cash flow and commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide commercial advice to project teams while building strong client and subcontractor relationships.
- Attend project sites across the UK to support successful project delivery.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Minimum of five years' Quantity Surveying experience within construction.
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
- Experience managing subcontractor accounts, valuations and final accounts.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
Desirable
- Experience within the structural steel industry.
- HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- RICS membership or working towards professional accreditation.
