A growing structural steel organization is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join its team in North Texas.

This is a hands-on project management role focused on keeping structural steel projects moving from planning through completion. You'll coordinate with customers, vendors, subcontractors, fabrication teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects remain aligned with scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience within the structural steel industry, strong project management skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage multiple structural steel projects concurrently from planning through completion.
  • Review and assess vendor proposals.
  • Set up projects and establish fabrication schedules, objectives, and milestones.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams.
  • Monitor project progress against production, financial, quality, and safety goals.
  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Negotiate and manage change orders.
  • Monitor vendor performance and maintain effective vendor relationships.
  • Identify resource and equipment requirements and support efficient capacity planning.
  • Communicate project information and progress to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support process improvements on complex projects.
  • Ensure projects remain aligned with scope, budget, schedule, quality, and safety requirements.

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of project management experience within the structural steel industry.
  • Commercial structural steel fabrication experience is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of the AISC Manual of Steel Construction.
