💰 Compensation: ~$100k Base + Bonus (Total ~$115k-$120k)

About the Role
A large, established structural steel fabricator is seeking a Production Manager to lead second shift operations within a heavy steel fabrication facility.
The company specializes in complex structural and bridge components and operates at significant production volume annually. This is a key leadership hire focused on driving safety, throughput, accountability, and continuous improvement across multiple fabrication areas.
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple fabrication departments on 2nd shift
- Manage supervisors and production crews
- Execute production schedules and meet delivery targets
- Drive safety, quality, cost, and efficiency performance
- Implement 5S and continuous improvement initiatives
- Partner with scheduling, HR, and EHS teams
- Maintain strong shop floor presence and leadership visibility
Requirements
- 5+ years production or operations leadership in fabrication or manufacturing
- Heavy steel or structural fabrication experience strongly preferred
- Experience leading supervisors and multi-department teams
- Strong safety mindset
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing / continuous improvement
- Comfortable managing off-shift operations
