Job Title: Multi-Skilled Commercial Plumber
Location: Camden, London
Contract: Temp to Perm
Hours: 36 per week (07:00 - 15:15)
Pay Rate: £29.91 per hour (Umbrella/CIS)
The Role:
We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Commercial Plumber to join their Building Services team. You will play a key role in maintaining and managing plumbing and water systems across schools and other educational facilities, providing a high standard of service to staff and students.
Your work will include planned and reactive maintenance, installation, and compliance checks across cold and hot water systems, pumps, calorifiers, sanitary fittings, and water treatment systems, including Legionella monitoring. You'll also support the installation of new plumbing plant and work closely with the wider multi-skilled team to keep facilities safe and operational.
- Undertake planned and reactive maintenance across plumbing systems, including pumps, calorifiers, cold/hot water outlets, and sanitary fittings.
- Install, repair, and commission plumbing plant and equipment.
- Monitor and maintain water quality, including Legionella compliance.
- Use IT systems and BMS platforms to record work and diagnose issues.
- Provide excellent customer service while working predominantly in schools and other educational facilities.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
The Candidate:
- Proven experience as a commercial plumber, ideally in multi-skilled environments.
- Strong knowledge of hot and cold water systems, pumps, calorifiers, sanitary fittings, and water treatment compliance.
- Experience with installation and commissioning of plant equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent.
