Compensation: $75,000 - $100,000 Base Salary + 1% Uncapped Commission
Illustrative OTE: $120,000 - $145,000+ (based on $4.5M in sales)

We are a long-standing, premier manufacturer of high-performance commercial daylighting, fenestration, and architectural wall systems. Operating for over four decades, we design and produce custom solutions for major commercial, institutional, and industrial projects across North America.
We are expanding our regional sales team to support surging demand. This is a high-impact sales development role focused on high-value architectural projects-not high-volume cold calling.

- Dedicated Estimating & Admin Support: Focus on building relationships and closing deals. In-house estimators and sales coordinators handle project take-offs, technical drafting, and detailed bid calculations.
- Warm Inbound & Targeted Mining: Inherit inbound inquiries from architects and general contractors, supplemented by top-tier project tracking databases to capture early-stage bid opportunities.
- Clear Career Progression: Report directly to executive sales leadership with a direct track toward higher management as leadership transitions occur over the next 2-3 years.
Key Responsibilities
- Specification Sales: Engage architectural firms during early design phases to get engineered systems specified as the basis of design.
- Bid-Stage Execution: Partner directly with commercial contractors and general contractors to secure final purchase orders on competitive project bids.
- End-to-End Account Ownership: Track and guide opportunities through the entire deal cycle-from initial architectural contact to project handover.
Qualifications & Experience
- Background: Sales experience within commercial building products, architectural metals, fenestration, glass/glazing, or related technical construction trades (driven residential building products reps ready to transition into commercial are encouraged to apply).
- Skills: Excellent communication skills with the technical aptitude to discuss custom building envelopes with architects, engineers, and project managers.
- Technical Savvy: Familiarity with CRM systems and construction project tracking platforms is a plus.
- Mindset: Proactive, structured, and motivated to master specialized architectural product lines. Direct field experience and track record are valued over formal degrees.
