Novax Recruitment works across the UK and the United States. We are growing our USA division and looking for a Graduate Recruitment Consultant to join the team.
You do not need recruitment experience. We can teach you how to source, headhunt and qualify candidates. What we cannot teach is attitude, work ethic or the confidence to pick up the phone and have a proper conversation.
What will you actually be doing?
You will spend your time finding talented people for specialist vacancies across the United States.
That means speaking with candidates, understanding what they do, finding out what they want from their next move and deciding whether they are right for the opportunities we are working on.
You will also:
- Search for and headhunt candidates
* Qualify their experience, motivations and expectations
* Build relationships with people in your specialist market
* Manage interviews and keep candidates updated
* Organise your own pipeline and follow-up activity
* Support experienced consultants on established client accounts
* Learn how the complete recruitment process works
Who are we looking for?
Someone confident, organised and willing to learn.
You might be a graduate, have experience in sales or come from hospitality or another customer-facing role. We are more interested in how you communicate, how hard you are prepared to work and whether you take responsibility for your results.
Recruitment is not an easy ride. There are targets, people do not always answer the phone and occasionally a candidate will disappear five minutes before an interview.
However, if you are consistent and good at the job, the earning potential and career progression are excellent.
