Ready to take on more complex structural steel bids?
I'm recruiting for an established structural steel fabricator looking to strengthen its estimating team.
With a substantial backlog and ongoing bid activity, this is an opportunity to join an experienced team and contribute to major steel projects.
What you'll do
* Prepare material and labour takeoffs from drawings and models
* Estimate fabrication costs, including complex shop labour
* Review vendor pricing and subcontractor scopes
* Prepare proposals, budgets, alternates and exclusions
* Support project handovers and change pricing
What we're looking for
* An experienced estimator, ideally with 5-10 years' experience
* A strong structural steel estimating background
* Confidence reading complex blueprints and models
* Proficiency in Tekla, Lift AI and Procore
* Strong organisation and the ability to manage multiple bid deadlines
