- Structural steel estimating across a range of fabrication and erection projects
- Reviewing drawings and specifications to determine scope, materials, and labor
- Preparing detailed takeoffs and cost breakdowns
- Coordinating with fabrication, detailing, and field teams to ensure accuracy
- Analyzing risks, pricing variables, and changes to support competitive bids
- Building strong vendor and customer relationships to support pricing and repeat business
✅ Ideal Candidate Profile
- Structural steel estimating experience within fabrication and/or erection
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines at once
- Strong understanding of drawings, schedules, budgets, and material/labor breakdowns
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and common construction/estimating tools
- PMP or construction‑related certifications are a plus
