Core Function of the Position
The Estimator will play a critical role in calculating project costs, determining timelines, and ensuring the financial success of our projects. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of construction processes, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing project proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Identify labor, material, and time requirements to ensure accurate project budgeting and planning.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to gather specific design and technical information.
- Resolve discrepancies in project data by collecting and analyzing information to ensure accuracy.
- Present comprehensive estimates and reports to support informed decision-making and enhance project profitability.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or higher in Engineering, Construction Science, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as an Estimator or in a similar role, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- In-depth knowledge of research, data analysis methods, and estimation formulas.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and IT skills, with proficiency in relevant software tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage relationships with key stakeholders.
