Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

An established and rapidly growing heavy industrial manufacturer is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental Manager to lead and develop health, safety and environmental initiatives at one of its key U.S. manufacturing facilities offering the opportunity to work in a complex manufacturing environment where safety is the number one priority. Day to Day
- Develop and implement health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and site audits.
- Investigate incidents and carry out root cause analysis.
- Maintain OSHA and environmental compliance records.
- Deliver health and safety training across the facility.
- Lead and chair Safety Committee meetings.
- Monitor PPE compliance and site safety standards.
- Support emergency preparedness planning and recycling initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement in safety performance and culture.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or safety-related discipline.
- Minimum of seven years' progressive Health & Safety experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workers' compensation.
- Experience driving safety process improvements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A collaborative approach with the ability to influence employees at all levels.
Desirable
- CSP, ASP or CIH certification.
- Experience within heavy manufacturing, structural steel, fabrication or similar industrial environments.
