Modern industrial facilities are becoming more complex, more power-intensive and more critical to the future of US manufacturing.
We are supporting a major battery materials and energy infrastructure business that is scaling large industrial, office, lab, warehouse and recycling facilities across multiple locations.
They are looking for a Staff Electrical Design Engineer to take full ownership of electrical design packages from concept through construction.
This role is ideal for a senior electrical engineer who can operate as Electrical Engineer of Record, lead code-compliant design, support construction teams and deliver high-quality IFC packages across complex industrial environments.
You will be involved in medium voltage feeds up to 34.5kV, low voltage distribution, lighting, grounding, raceway, communications, power studies, code reviews, RFIs, submittals and commissioning support.
Key experience required:
10+ years of electrical design experience within heavy commercial, industrial, manufacturing, lab, warehouse or facility environments
Strong medium voltage and low voltage electrical design background
Experience producing permit drawings, construction drawings and IFC packages
Strong knowledge of NEC, IECC and NFPA standards
Power system studies experience using SKM, ETAP or similar
Cable ampacity calculations using AmpCalc or similar
Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks and Bluebeam experience
Professional Engineer licence, or ability to obtain PE in Nevada and South Carolina shortly after starting
