You'll be joining a well-established structural steel contractor delivering projects across the commercial, industrial and infrastructure sectors. With a healthy order book and continued investment in both people and technology, they're looking for another experienced Tekla Detailer to help deliver an increasing number of complex steelwork packages.

The Role
You'll take ownership of detailing projects from design through to fabrication, working with engineers, project managers and the shop floor to ensure every drawing is accurate, practical and ready for manufacture.
You'll:
- Produce detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings using Tekla Structures.
- Create GA drawings, assembly drawings and CNC data for manufacture.
- Review engineering information and resolve detailing queries.
- Work closely with fabrication, project management and design teams throughout each project.
- Identify practical solutions that improve buildability and fabrication efficiency.
- Support multiple structural steel projects from initial design through to final issue.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Experience using Tekla Structures within the structural steel industry.
- Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and detailing.
- Ability to interpret structural and engineering drawings.
- Experience producing fabrication drawings and material schedules.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a project team.
Desirable
- Experience with commercial, industrial or infrastructure steelwork.
- Knowledge of connection detailing.
- Experience producing CNC data.
- Understanding of UK structural steel standards.
