Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Northern California (Sacramento, Bay Area, Central Valley)
Salary: $165,000 - $210,000 + performance incentives; benefits included
The Role
An established and growing organization is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive expansion across Northern California, focusing on education, civic, and healthcare markets. This role leads the full business development lifecycle, from opportunity identification through to deal closure.
Day to day
- Build and manage a strong pipeline ($50M-$75M+ annually)
- Develop relationships with Owners, Architects, Consultants, and CM/GCs
- Lead RFQs, RFPs, and proposals with accurate forecasting
- Represent the business at industry events and associations
Requierments
- 10+ years' business development experience in construction or A/E
- Proven success securing high-value ($50M+) opportunities
- Experience with public and private procurement
- Strong presentation and relationship-building skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred
