Later Living Officer
£16 per hour
Full Time Contract

We are seeking a Later Living Officer to work flexibly to deliver a tenure blind, wholesome people and place offer for residents living in Housing for Older Persons and specialist housing, ensuring the needs of the wider community are met. The role involves managing complex casework including, but not limited to, safeguarding, domestic abuse, mental health, older people support, hoarding, property condition, mediation and dispute resolution, anti social behaviour, alcohol and substance misuse. There will also be property management functions ensuring the meeting of all health and safety and fire safety and residents' safety requirements, carrying out testing and regular inspections of dwellings. An Enhanced DBS & barred list check (Child & adult) is required for this position.

Key Skills and Requirements include:-

  • Knowledge of housing law and understanding of the issues involved in managing supported housing or housing for the elderly
  • Experience of delivering customer facing multi-landlord tenure blind tenancy management, complex casework management
  • Experience of delivering property management function and knowledge of underlying health and safety and residents' safety regulations and other regulatory principles
  • Experience of working in face-paced environment, with many competing priorities
