Housing Options Officer
£12.50 per hour
Full Time Contract
We are seeking a Housing Options Officer to investigate and assess the needs of homeless and other housing applicants, determine priorities and allocate properties, offer advice and assistance on housing options and ensure relevant policies and procedures are followed in the allocations and assessment process. The role involves interviewing homeless applicants, assessing homeless applications, processing Housing register/Transfer applications, and assist with allocation of property and temporary accommodation.
Key Skills and Requirements include:-
- Minimum of one year's experience in housing or housing related work.
- Knowledge of homelessness, void property management, benefit maximisation and rents.
- Experience of managing own area/caseload.
- Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle.
