An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health Visitor to work in Newham within the Children and Young People Services. The post holder will provide clinical advice, supervision, and support to the health visiting skill mix team around specific Public health matters including domestic violence, infant feeding, accident prevention, safeguarding, and extended service link.

The post holder will be responsible for the provision of expert high-quality family centred Primary Health Service to a defined population including those within the
Early help neighbourhood and Children's Centres boundaries within the London Borough of Newham.

You will work as part of the quadrant Integrated team to support the Integrated team Managers and Clinical Team Leaders in ensuring that each member of the health visiting team is competent, able to meet the full needs of clients and operates to high standards; to deliver the 0-5 mandated Healthy Child programme within the London borough of Newham to deliver expert personalised and culturally sensitive care and support to clients and groups

Knowledge and Experience:

Registered Nurse (Essential)
Community Nurse Qualifications - Health Visitor (Essential)
ENB 998/997 or recognized teaching qualification ( Essential)
Demonstrates an up to date and in-depth knowledge of current clinical practice and maintains credibility by developing a good understanding of practice issues affecting
clinical/non-clinical staff within the clinical areas, and by continuing own training and professional development.
