Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Finance Officer based in Chelmsford, Essex. This role is a temporary position, scheduled for a 6 month term, working full time hours.
This position will initially, in line with current government guidance be based from home, with an expectation of being home based for the foreseeable future. However, when government guidelines change the role may then revert to being office based, whilst retaining some flexible working options.
We are looking for a candidate who can provide financial support in relation to the payments and collection of income, to both internal and external customers, contributing towards delivery of the business plan for financial transactions, in support of the wider organisational vision, as well as someone who can provide technical support to team members and customers answering more complex queries in a professional manner in accordance with financial procedures. Acts as the subject matter expert for P2P, Assessment and/or Income processes.
You will need an eye for details, good communications skills verbally and written, and ability to work as part of a team whilst working remotely. You will have support and training, but at the same time, you'll need an understanding of Oracle systems and have experience in business processes, functional requirements analysis and following test script documentation. We are looking for someone ideally with a minimum of 12 months P2P, oracle Purchasing and AP experience
