Full Time Contract
Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a CYPL Coordinator based around West Sussex. This is a temporary position, initially contracted for 3 months with scope for extension. Currently this position is working from home, however there may be a requirement to support offices and meetings so we are only considering candidates from a commutable distance.
The main purpose of the role is to support compliance activities, such as FOI responses, health and safety records and risk registers, management of governance and democratic processes such as writing reports for members, providing a PA and admin support for the team, and supporting the Directorate on its improvement journey. This includes managing the Improvement Board, co-ordinating Ofsted inspections and supporting improvement projects, such as a Management Development Programme.
We are looking for a candidate with strong administration and reception background, as well as a keen eye for detail and great communication skills, both verbal and written. Previous experience in a local authority or working in a school/children's services would also be beneficial.
