Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Benefits Assessor based in Greenwich. This is a temporary position working full time hours.
The role will specifically be to process Test and Trace Support Payments, which is a scheme set up to support low income residents who experience a loss of earnings when needing to self-isolate.
The role will include processing claims, liaising with claimants to discuss or chase additional evidence, and verifying information from third parties such as employers and schools. The role will also include interrogating various IT systems to verify information.
Local Authority Housing/ Council Benefit environment experience would be beneficial, as well as processing housing benefit claims. You must have 3 GCSE's at Grade C and above or equivalent, including English and Mathematics.
We are looking for a team place, someone who can work efficiently and to deadline, with good IT skills.
