Our client is looking for ambitious Assistant Software Engineer to join their force.
An established and well recognised rental company that supplies construction equipment to the building and construction sectors from one-off hires to local companies to long-running nationwide contracts.

Reporting to the Monitoring Manager, you will provide efficient and effective service.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
* Working as part of a team with other engineers/technicians to produce high-quality, cost-effective solutions
* Maintain data acquisition and management software ensuring that ongoing development is achieved in a timely and accurate manner.
* Set up and maintain LIVEsite / Insite web portal ensuring accurate functionality for all projects based at Haydock.
* Assess monitoring and interpret captured data to determine and predict effects.
* Provide technical support to monitoring engineers and depots as required to enable functionality
* Provide and maintain high levels of customer service to exceed customer expectations.
* Management of data communication systems (Sim cards) within team
* Design and improvement of data acquisition systems to enhance performance.

We are seeking a team player with a flexible approach who can prioritise a varied workload.
Core Requirements
The core skill requirements of this role are:
* HNC/HND in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science/ Information Technology
* Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science/ Information Technology (Desirable)
* At Least 2 years' experience operating at Engineering Level
* Information Technology/ Telecommunications/ Web Design industry experience
* Use of Labview/ C++ & Matlab
